  • Do you question if you are able to kick-start those visions?
  • Are you surrounded by people whose body language show that they don’t believe in you or your visions?

These are all common situations, andbeing the head of your own business can be lonely, or even scary … in fact, starting just about any venture anyways can be scary! BUT you’ve got to figure out how to motivate yourself  each and every day.

Getting and staying motivated is vital especially when you are about to start a new venture. This is because you will need it in your day-to-day running of business and decision making. The importance of motivation and goal setting cannot be over emphasized if you want to grow, to stay focused and to follow through on your plans.

Below are basic simple tips that may help you…

  • Make out enough time to relax and to think deeply and thoroughly about your vision.
  • Try to eliminate all doubts, indecisions and stay on top of your plans.
  • Ask questions and seek out people who are in the same line of business.
  • Read up and consult as widely as you can about such ventures.
  • Make time for yourself to go over possible future unforeseen circumstances that may crop up.
  • Most importantly, consider and have alternative actions lined up – Remember, it is not about starting, but about sustenance.

The simple tips above should act as pointers to stay positive concerning your new venture. Remember, motivation is important and so is inspiration. The difference between inspiration and motivation is that inspiration gives you the idea, while motivation causes you to put the idea in motion…so you will be needing both.

Warren Buffet, one of the most successful men in today’s business says,  “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone else planted a tree long ago”.

So, go out there, take the risk and be that someone.

Good Luck!!!
