EFCC HAS NAMED THE OWNER OF THE IKOYI FLAT WHERE $43 MILLION WAS FOUND

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has named the owner of a flat in Osborne, Ikoyi where the sum of $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23,218,000 (an approximate total of N13 billion) were recently recovered.

According to EFCC,  the wife of

the suspended Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Folashade Oke, allegedly purchased the property on 13, Osbourne Road, Osbourne Towers, Lagos, for N360 million.

That Oke paid $1.6m (N360m) in cash for the purchase of the flat between August 25 and September 3, 2015 in the name of a company known as  Chobe Ventures Limited. She and and her son, Ayodele Oke Junior, are joint directors in the company.
