A Nigerian man, Nnamdi Chiawalamuoke, has trekked from Aba to Umuahia to meet and greet the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB),
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu was arrested for broadcasting what the Nigerian government called ‘hate speeches’ on his Radio Biafra, which though is located in London, is received in south-east and south-south parts of Nigeria.
Chiawalamuoke revealed that he trekked to Umuahia because he made a promise to God to trek anytime IPOB leader is released from detention. It was gathered that the Biafra supporter left his house around 5am and arrived at Kanu’s compound around 4pm. He was filled with joy after he was allowed to meet Kanu who shook him and lauded him for his support.
Kanu said: “you are indeed a hardcore Biafran.” You may recall that Kanu was recently released from Kuje prison after spending a year and some months in prison.
